There has been a leak at the large particle accelerator called LHC ( large Hadron Collider ) at Cern. Unfortunately this means that the whole series of experiments which set out to discover the secrets of the Universe has had to be postponed to SPRING 2009. The secrets of the universe have to wait to be unravelled. The complexity of the CERN facility, the fact it is the first of its kind and destined to reveal unknown secrets make it a highly complex facility. No small wonder it may have few teething problems. At least it hasn’t disappeared into its own black hole.
Learning is part knowledge and part experimentation. Together it can be great fun and highly rewarding. Imagine the thrill of working on such a cutting edge project .
