I hope that you all had a relaxing and peaceful summer after all your hard work in the summer term. It is great to be back at school ready to learn more about nature, space, chemicals , gems, microbeasts and lots more.
I would just like to share a photo of a place I visited in Japan during the summer. Does anyone know the name of this building? (Clue: A precious metal and a place of worship)

This is a FANTASTIC game on the Kids Only zone of the Natural History Museum website. You have a chance to go out exploring on behalf of the museum, locate your specimen and find the correct tools to excavate it. When you bring it back to the museum you have to choose which department would be interested in it as well as how to preserve it. HAVE A GO !
Become an explorer for the day and find specimens to bring back to the museum.
