I wondered what was going on with all this hush-hush and nudge-nudge in my Year 6 club yesterday!
It’s all to do with Mr Hitchen’s friend, Mr Baldworm having nominated this blog for an Edublogs Award. I think that Mr Hitchen is being very modest as he is the cutting edge of blogging at the Falcons!
His ( I mean Baldworm’s ) English blog has changed the way we work at our school: no longer can children hide the truth about their homework or the fact that they have been P.E.E.ing all day in the English lessons!
Come on everyone who is a fan of Baldworm, tell us all about why you cannot manage without Baldworm in your lives any more! Even our girls in their new secondary schools are still excelling in English and History and any subject where they have to use English ( that’s pretty much everywhere) , all because of Mr Hitchen’s ( I mean Baldworm’s ) many tips and hints on how to be the best writer ever and how to annotate, and engage at the same time!
